Brother DCP-T300 Tank Printer ! Ink Problem Fixed Head Cleaning
1. Open the ink cover.
2. Open all 4 ink tank stoppers to allow airflow into them
3. insert a long thin screwdriver to bypass the ink cover safety switch (paper didn’t work for me).
4. Press “Menu” then press “Mono” then press “Menu”
5. Press the up arrow to get to “7” and press “OK”.
6. Press the up arrow to get to “6” and press “OK”. The screen should read “CLEANING ALL”
7. Press the up arrow to get to “0” and press “OK”.
8. The screen should show “INK_REP_P ALL”
9. Press “Mono”
10. The screen should show “Cleaning”
11. Wait for cleaning to finish.
12. Test print and repeat steps 4 to 9 if more cleaning is required.
* You may need
to replace the Ink Waste Pad afterward if you’ve done a few clean cycles, as it
uses a lot of ink.
